There is a cosy double bedroom nicely furnished with warm country pine furniture and one single bedroom, which has an additional pullout bed, suitable for a child. There is a comfortable lounge with a cottage style low beamed ceiling, comfy seating, colour television with DVD and a video player. The bright and airy fully fitted kitchen, features an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine plus of course all the essentials for home to home living....... The dining room has a patio door which opens out onto your own private patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, the perfect place to relax in the warm Cornish evening sun at the end of the day, with a meal and a glass of wine. Steve and Clare your hosts, are also very happy for you to share their own private enclosed lawn at their 17th century farmhouse next door. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a separate toilet. The cottage is fully heated with electric storage heaters for guests visiting during those chillier times and all heating and fuel is included in the tarif. All bed linen is supplied, to make your travelling load that much lighter and if you require the use of a cot or highchair, please ask and these will be made available for you. There is secure off-road parking available for two cars and an outbuilding if you wish to store bikes etc...... Unfortunatly we have no facilities to accommodate guests pets and please note there is a strictly no-smoking policy in the cottage.
Mevagissey with its picturesque harbour and narrow winding streets, gift shops and numerous pubs and special places to eat are just a 5 minute drive. If you prefer walking or cycling, Pentewan Valley opposite the cottage is the perfect place, or the stunning coastal path is just a 15 minute walk away. The famous Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a couple of miles and the Eden Project, traffic depending is around a 15 minute drive.
We are also able to offer winter and out of season breaks please enquire.
