Portmellon Cove Guest House is a five star, gold award winning, licensed bed and breakfast overlooking the sandy cove of Portmellon near to the working fishing village of Mevagissey.

All bedrooms, the lounge and dining room have panoramic sea views and there is also a beautiful garden where guests can relax with a drink from the mini-bar
or read on one of the decks or the swing.

Accommodation

Portmellon Cove Guest House has three, luxurious, well equipped en-suite rooms. Eden, the romantic four poster room is very spacious with patio doors leading out to the garden and a large en-suite bathroom with corner bath and separate shower.
The light and airy Heligan room has a king-size bed and a modern en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating.
The Lanhydrock room can be arranged as a twin or a super king-size double (6ft) and has an en-suite with large shower.
All rooms have panoramic sea views, mini-bars, flat screen TV/DVD players, a private door into the garden, free wireless internet, bathrobes and many other personal touches to make any stay extra special. Champagne and chocolates/strawberries, home made high teas/cream teas, fruit bowls, bouquets of flowers or packed lunches can be arranged on request.
There is also ample free, off-road parking and a pub nearby.

Breakfasts at Portmellon Cove

Breakfast at Portmellon Cove is a relaxing affair set at three individual tables in the dining room which enjoys sea and countryside views. A large choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts and juices are served followed by a full Cornish breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled egg, kippers or a continental breakfast. Toast or croissants follow with the opportunity to try Sarah's seville marmalade, Heligan honey or Boddingtons of Mevagissey strawberry jam. Our guests assure us that such a hearty breakfast leaves them no room for lunch!
Vegetarian alternatives are available and special diets can be catered for with prior notice.

Location
Portmellon Cove Guest House is situated under a mile from Mevagissey in a quiet, peaceful area. The Eden Project is just 12 miles away, the Lost Gardens of Heligan 3 miles and all of Cornwalls main attractions are reachable within an hour.
We have also been approved by Visit England for the Walker and Cyclists Welcome Schemes.
