The "Ancient Shipbrokers" is a delightful Victorian house, situated in an elevated position, in the historic, picturesque village of Pentewan. It offers wonderful seaviews from all bedrooms and guests dining room, out across Pentewan Bay and Harbour


Wendy and Mel endeavour to make their fine old Victorian home as welcoming as possible, offering you all the comforts you may need, to create that home from home feel.
If a coastal setting is a change for you, waking up at the Ancient Shipbrokers will be a special treat...... You will almost certainly wake to the morning song of sea birds, or the sight of the busy House Martins, whilst of course enjoying the wonderful sea views, from the comfort of your bedroom.

Accommodation
The house is decorated "Victorian Style" with antique furniture and bold colours, creating a wonderful warm and cosy atmosphere.......
The "Pink Room" has a light but cosy atmosphere, created by the combination of our romantic antique brass bed, solid wood antique wardrobe, chest of drawers and luxurious soft furnishings.....
The "Blue Room" can be used either as a twin bedded room with two 3ft beds, or as a queen sized bed.
The room also features solid wood furniture, attractive traditional antique mirrors and luxurious soft furnishings.
Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms which are fully tiled with toilet, washbasin and jet powered shower unit.....

Location
Pentewan is a small coastal village just 3 miles south of St Austell, which is situated at the north eastern corner of the tri-angular "Roseland Peninsular", with St Mawes at the southern tip.
Being in the heart of Cornwall the whole county is easily accessible to our visitors, with the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very close at hand...
The quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is just a mile away, .... whilst the ancient charm of Fowey harbour, the historic port of Charlestown and the beautiful beaches of the Roseland Peninsula are all less than 20 minutes drive.... The city of Truro with its majestic cathedral and architecture is also 20 minutes drive.
