Location
Portmellon is a small coastal hamlet, just a few minutes walk from the popular and picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey. It has its own tiny sheltered bay and beach and forms part of the coastal path walk.....
In days gone by, it was a favourite haunt of smugglers, but today it is a popular launching place for resident and visiting boats and yachts.... There is also the chance of the odd dolphin and seal swimming past as well as the larger basking shark.......
Portmellon is very centrally located and is therefore, ideally situated for visiting all areas of Cornwall as day trips, especially the famous Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan which are very close at hand.....
