Tall Ships is a delightful 'self-contained' cottage set in the beautiful, harbourside village of Charlestown,
just 500 yards from the sea and its historic harbour....
The Cottage is set in the grounds of "Tall Ships", a newly constructed house, surrounded by 19th century walls on three sides and an Oak Woodland on the fourth. The cottage overlooks a newly constructed garden, with a Victorian Villa, some rare shrubs and trees with lawn and herbaceous borders....The garden and surrounding Oak woodlands, is home to many species of unusual and rare birds, and we are lucky enough to see Nuthatches, Blackcaps & Linnets on a daily basis and resident Buzzards flying overhead on most days....

Accommodation
The cottage itself has been newly refurbished for a real home from home feel.....
it has a comfy leather suite to sit and relax with a book, or make use of the colour tv with 30 channels and vhs/dvd player with a selection of popular films available for our guests use.
There is a comfortable double bed, three wardrobes and lots of drawer space provided.....
additionally there are two washbasins each containing heated towel rails
and a shower with plenty of hot water always available.
Location
Charlestown is a small harbour village just 1 mile from the town of St Austell, which is situated at the north eastern corner of the tri-angular "Roseland Peninsula", with St Mawes at the southern tip.
Being in the heart of Cornwall the whole county is easily accessible to our visitors, with the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very close at hand...
The quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is just a few miles away, .... whilst the ancient charm of Fowey harbour, and the beautiful beaches of the Roseland Peninsula are all less than 30 minutes drive.... The city of Truro with its majestic cathedral and architecture is also just a 20 minutes drive.
