Accommodation
Thorncliffe has two bright and sunny letting bedrooms, one double and one twin overlooking the old harbour and beach. Both rooms have the added benefit of a washbasin and the separate guest shower and toilet is close at hand... There are tea and coffee making facilities and soft fluffy towels to make your stay a little more special....
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the bright and airy conservatory, which has views of the garden and out across the harbour to the shore line....
Breakfast time is a social event at Thorncliffe....the guests share a large table and are able to share their holiday adventures over a hearty and leisurely breakfast, which is usually served between 8 am and 9 am, which gives guests chance for that early morning stroll, to work up an appetite for breakfast. Pat & Jim are very happy to arrange an earlier time if you prefer to be early birds....
Location
Pentewan is a small coastal village with all the amenities you may need for your few days away. There is a village pub with beer garden, just 25 staggers from Thorncliffe, two restaurants, a shop, post office, gift shop, petrol station and cycle hire shop at the start of the beautiful Pentewan cycle trail.....
Being in the heart of Cornwall the whole county is easily accessible to our visitors, with the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very close at hand...
The quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is just a mile away, .... whilst the ancient charm of Fowey harbour, the historic port of Charlestown and the beautiful beaches of the Roseland Peninsula are all less than 20 minutes drive.... The city of Truro with its majestic cathedral and architecture is also 20 minutes drive.
