The "Wheel House"

The Wheel House Guest House and Restaurant, offers its guests one of the
'best views in Mevagissey'.....
It is situated just a few yards from the picturesque harbour front and Mevagisseys narrow, windy,
typically cornish streets....



Waking up at the Wheel House is a sheer delight.....you will wake to the gentle lapping of the water at high tide, witness the morning activites of the resident wildlife and fisherman and be close at hand for a leisurely stroll around the harbour, before returning for a hearty breakfast.....

Accommodation
The Wheel House offers its guests, double ensuite bedrooms, all having the luxury of those fantastic harbour views....
The rooms all have colour televisions and refreshment facilities to make your stay more home from home.....
The Wheel House Restaurant, is open for evening meals from March through to the end of October, so after a busy day sightseeing, is the perfect place to enjoy a first class meal, with perfect views and just a few steps from the comfort of your bedroom......
There are two flights of stairs to negotiate however to the guesthouse, so unfortunatly the accommodation is not suitable for guests with any kind of mobility problems......

Breakfasts
We offer what the majority of our guests would call a 'traditional hearty breakfast', downstairs in our restaurant......
Breakfast is served at a time convenient to yourselves anytime after 9am......but, for those early birds, we are happy to provide your breakfast earlier by special request....

General Information
The Wheelhouse is open all year for guests use, with the exception of the Christmas and New Year break.
Prices range between £35 to £40 pppn sharing,
including your Breakfast
There is an additional charge of £20 for single occupancy......
We regret the we have no facilities for children or pets.....
There is ample safe parking for guests on the quay which is just a minutes walk from us here at the Wheel House...

Location
Mevagissey is a small coastal village just 5 miles south of St Austell, which is situated at the north eastern corner of the tri-angular "Roseland Peninsula", with St Mawes at the southern tip.
Being in the heart of Cornwall the whole county is easily accessible to our visitors, with the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very close at hand...
Mevagissey itself, is a delightful cornish village, with working harbour, narrow streets, lovely restaurants, pubs and gift shops....
